Crucial "Causes" of Our Time
(Looking toward the 2004 Presidential Campaign Debates)

PHILADELPHIA -- September 29, 2003 (TomFlocco.com) -- Welcome back to our website. We are undergoing changes via a new format, and archives are being transferred and updated each day. The site will commence its developing new look with a view toward the confluence of unrelenting stories about war in Iraq, perpetration of stock and mutual fund fraud, and "governance by greed" on Wall Street. Particular attention will be focused upon questions linked to the lack of quick action by key government officials during the actual attacks on September 11, 2001. We still believe 9-11 will be a 2004 campaign issue--what with the relentless "Jersey Girls," and Ellen Mariani’s litigation.
However, we also believe there are a number of critical issues that will define American history and culture during the next few years--literally determining the future of the Republic. And they better be part of the 2004 presidential campaign debates. Here are our picks--in no particular order. We ignore a few of them at our immediate and collective peril. Others have longer term implications. But look for stories on these issues in coming months at TomFlocco.com:
1) 9-11 Attacks--Government officials let attacks happen--even with prior warnings.
2) Illegal Immigration--A defining issue of our time--for financial AND security reasons.
3) Election and Vote-Counting Fraud--Stolen elections abrogate the will of the People.

5) Loss of American Jobs--NAFTA, unfair foreign trade has killed U.S. industry & jobs.

11)Media Consolidation--Allowing a few companies to control all print-TV-radio news.
In our first group of stories, we have included (see below) a press release from 9-11 victim family member Ellen Mariani--the first to initiate civil action for wrongful death regarding her husband Neil’s United Airlines (UAL) flight 175 being crashed into the south tower of the World Trade Center. The New Hampshire widow has vowed to seek the truth about 9/11--literally turning her back on the Congressional Victim Compensation Fund and guaranteed financial redress for her loss. Mariani has decided to press on with her suit against UAL and the airline security companies. However, her law-firm and research staff will now expand her litigation by seeking to probe and hold accountable high-ranking government officials in the executive branch and its related intelligence subsidiaries.

War, Stock Fraud, and 9/11
Finally, as an example of how issues related to the Iraq war, 9-11, and stock fraud have converged, we are reprinting below a 3-part series written not long after the 9/11 attacks called "The Profits of Death--Insider Trading and 9/11." The stories first appeared on Michael Ruppert’s FromTheWilderness.com. And thus far the FBI has not permitted public scrutiny of stock-trade documents and related evidence surrounding a secret Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) "control list" of U.S. and Canadian securities firms.
The control list, ordered by the SEC and FBI to be kept low profile--and first reported in the San Francisco Chronicle, includes all pre-9/11 trades in the U.S. and Canada linked to some 38 companies in the twin towers, UAL and American Airlines, plus key insurance companies covering 9/11 losses: Munich Re, French AXA, and Swiss Re. And Congress has failed to question additional billions in treasury bills purchased on the Friday just prior to the attacks. Next to gold, treasury securities are a safe-haven for money during any world crisis.
Americans need to inspect the pre-9/11 stock trades of any and all administration officials, legislators, their relatives, and friends who had either access to or knowledge of the "frantic" June, July, and August intelligence briefings which indicated that plans were being made to use airplanes as weapons to steer into United States buildings--and whether government officials adjusted their personal finances accordingly. The FBI is covering up.
Incredibly, the U.S. Congressional Intelligence Committee has already permitted President Bush to invoke--without publicly testifying--what amounts to "executive privilege," while claiming that his personal knowledge of the contents of frantic pre-9/11 attack warnings is "classified."
A compliant and soft White House press corps has failed to acquire answers from President Bush as to why he considers his pre-attack knowledge of this critical information about "planes being used as weapons" to be deemed "secret." But then intelligence committee senators and congressmen who received the same briefings as Mr. Bush would have to interrogate themselves under oath at their own hearings if they compelled the president to publicly testify in like manner. Does anybody else smell a rat here?
Profits of Death
The "Profits of Death" series below recounts curious events and strange personal connections and relationships, including the following:
1) Evidence of prior knowledge of 9-11, via pre-attack monitoring of world stock markets by the U.S. intelligence community;
2) The CIA Executive Director’s role as former head of a German bank’s brokerage house linked to "unclaimed profits" from pre-9/11 attack UAL put option contracts;
3) The Afghanistan and Pakistan drug money-laundering and illegal sale of grenade-launchers/mortars/missiles conviction just prior to 9/11 of a stock-trader from the same German bank [Curiously, the convicted "trader’s" two banking mentors also happened to be the former Clinton administration Secretary of the Treasury and a Democrat New Jersey Senator];
4) The same German bank’s guilty plea in 1999 for diverting "unclaimed money" to fraudulently prop up profitability of banking units;
5) The curious Bush 41 and 43 connections to Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia banking and oil interests--with clear and incontrovertible evidence of a million-dollar insider stock-trading scam [multiple sources listed] involving President George W. Bush himself. Do as I say--Not as I do?
It’s in "The Profits of Death" series--and reasonably well-documented. We have the feeling that these three stories may have been a little ahead of their time--hence the reprint. And in light of current unpunished Wall Street fraud and greed that is so slanted against the interests of families--the small investors--and strikingly obvious timelines that fail to justify administration actions on September 11, the outrageous facts only shed partial light on the true extent of the negligence--or worse.
Nevertheless, we are thankful that individuals who have the desire to research, report, and print news (that corporate-controlled media omits on a daily basis) are still free to bypass the intentional censorship that is currently employed in the U.S. And many Americans are starting to discover independent internet websites that continually report and analyze stories that mainstream outlets continually ignore.
But this last bastion of freedom is now being threatened by email denial of service, political denial of service by internet provider companies linked to federal interests, and "off-budget" hacking, email-monitoring, and other surveillance activities--foreign and domestic--that are difficult to prove.
Crucial Causes
These are difficult times. If we fail to seal and control our sovereign borders from terrorists who would murder our people or illegals who would drain our financial resources; if we fail to assure that our voting machines and election-counting procedures are rock-solid honest--not fraud-infested, then the whole show may be over before we even start to tackle the other crucial issues.
We cannot go on allowing the Supreme Court to choose our presidents. It’s that bad. "Mexifornia" is set to become the new Florida in the 2004 election. Americans should be questioning the necessity of ever having to show a drivers license for identification--now that illegal immigrants and terrorists can acquire the closest document we have to a national ID card. This, to facilitate either roaming the country with truck-bombs or guzzling taxpayer funds and services by merely applying for a drivers license.
No questions asked. It’s their right. After all, "undocumented" aliens have only broken U.S. immigration laws. However, the sanity of such incompetent and reprehensible governance is more than absurd. It’s absolutely outrageous. And we pay taxes for this.
So we will continue to research and write stories, and hope we can afford to stay online.
Our log-sheets indicate that individuals in the White House and Pentagon are reading this stuff. We also know that more and more citizens are beginning to realize that critically important stories are being omitted daily by politically-connected media editors.
But internet readership of sites like this one is increasing each day. What’s going on? It’s called hunger for real news. And it still amazes us: more than 70 countries in less than one year. Do we sometimes get a story wrong? Of course. There was only one faultless individual who lived on this earth. But "lifetime" judges persist in trying to ignore His historical place in the formation of our Republic by the Founding Fathers. Historical documents offer the proof.
"Reading" about these issues accomplishes little, if anything, until the citizenry starts to take action: phoning, faxing, and emailing congressmen and senators--visiting their Washington, DC OFFICES with friends to let one’s opinions be known; writing op-eds and letters to local papers (that’s how we started); initiating one’s own website; advising elected local and state officials that you and your friends will not tolerate "fixed" elections and fraudulent vote-counting with no back-up verification; calling-in to C-Span and talk-radio stations, etc.
Whether you are a Republican, Democrat, or Independent, the future of the country may well rest upon whether Americans heed the oft-repeated words of veteran New York talk-radio host Bob Grant: "Your influence counts. Use it." Make elected officials uncomfortable with the status-quo. Make them earn the incredible perks, pensions and power they posess. In other words, use your freedom while you still have it.
God has given everyone a talent. Our job is to somehow discover and develop that ability, and then ultimately use it on this earth to affect something for good.
Dishonest vote-counts? Stolen elections? U.S. Treasury looted? Lost jobs? Unfair Foreign Trade? "Used" and destroyed citizen-military? Court-case fixing? Loss of Freedoms? Attacks on Families? Stock Fraud? Media Censorship? It’s still not too late to force the presidential candidates to truly address these issues. Follow them to New Hampshire, Iowa--and Mexifornia--if you are able. We plan to do just that in December and January. More citizens are needed. We must force those with power to listen to us.
Will you become "active" regarding some of the crucial causes of our time? So that we can have honest government in our lifetime? So we can have a country we still recognize?
The rest of the world is watching to see if we continue to permit our leaders, lawmakers, and judges to legislate the destruction of our culture, our finances, our faith, our jobs, our industries, our military, our elections, our morals, and our freedoms. See to it that the advertising media goes after the candidates on these issues--the crucial causes of our time.
